Caroline is a Human Rights Legal Officer. She joined the Commission in July 2019 as an Articling Student. Originally from Halifax, NS, Caroline received her Bachelor of Arts, Honours, in International Relations from Mount Allison University in 2014, and her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2018. She was called to the Prince Edward Island Bar in January 2020.
Caroline is an experienced leader and manager. While obtaining her post-secondary degrees, she worked for seven summer seasons as the Human Resource Manager for a large entertainment company in Cavendish. Currently, she is the Policy Chair on the board of the PEI John Howard Society. She previously coordinated an estate planning project for low income citizens in Halifax, NS, and has volunteered with several social justice organizations such as Pro Bono Students Canada, the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Society, and Global Brigades.
Caroline is passionate about people, restorative and social justice, and making a difference in her community. Outside of work, she spends her time walking her two large dogs, enjoying conversations with friends and family, reading, and practicing yoga.
